Friday, 15 March marked the untimely exit of Pa Daniel Mbonde, a retired Prison Warder beheaded in his farm by his own son whose name Cameroon Tribune got as Gabriel Mbonde alias “Daddy Black”. Gabriel, 25, is presently languishing at the Buea Central Police station cell while the headless body of the father by press time (3pm Saturday) was brought to the family compound around the ‘Pala Pala field’ neighbourhood by the police for burial. As the story goes, Pa Mbonde went to his farm situated around HUT One on the slopes of Mount Fako, Friday morning with one of his sons (Ndumbe). By 4pm, the two decided to go back home and each carried a long of wood. The young Ndumbe narrated that his father asked him to go ahead since he could not walk faster to the pace of the young man. Somewhere along the road, he went on, he met with his elder brother (the assassin) and asked him where he was going by that time of the day but “Daddy Black” responded that he too was going to fetch his own firewood. Ndumbe said he questioned the brother how he was going to cut firewood without a machete but he said he was going to collect the machete from the father. When by 6pm Pa Mbonde had not return, eyebrows were raised on what might have happened to him. Meanwhile, the said “Daddy Black” returned with a bag containing the head of his father. He is said to have moved with the said black bag around the neigbourhood claiming that his money is on the way coming. A woman who was also returning from her farm, Cameroon Tribune learnt, is reported to have seen somebody lying on the ground in the bush but did not border to verify. Following the search of the old man (in his early 70s according to family sources), the woman hinted the villagers who immediately went out to see for themselves. The younger brother and other youths of the locality mobilized and got “Daddy Black” who admitted haven beheaded the father. He reportedly went to the house and brought out the father’s head. He was then taken to the Central Police Station where he is currently detained. Gabriel Mbonde a.k.a “Daddy Black” according to family sources has been a torn to the father’s flesh and the rest of the family. He is said to have been on his father’s throat over monetary issues, accusing the father of selling the house and land without giving his own share. Cameroon Tribune also gathered that this is not the first time “Daddy Black” is committing such a flagitious act. He had some time ago, attempted to cut off the younger brother’s head. The incident left the brother (Ndumbe) with severe machete cuts which almost took his life. “Daddy Black” again is reported to have raped his niece (younger sister’s child). When he inflicted machete wounds on the brother, Cameroon Tribune learnt, he was detained in waiting trial at the Buea Central Prison but the father who is today the next victim, sold his house and land and bailed him out

I see birthdays as a new year in one’s life and I usually pray at the early hours of that day. I prayed till 3am but was woken by my wife’s kiss. We had sex for almost two hours and it was very good as we hadn’t done such in a while. The man left immediately after.</div> <div></div> <div>“I went through her phone and noticed that she had called her father, George Oyakhire, an ex-boyfriend of hers and an unidentified number. Later, I asked her why she didn’t call me when I did not come home but she said she did not have airtime. I then asked her that where did she then get airtime to call the three people I noticed on her phone.</div> <div></div> <div>“She flared up and said I should never go through her phone again. She then started to call her ex-boyfriend in my presence. I got angry, grabbed her phone and smashed it against the wall. She took my phone and smashed it as well, so I slapped her. It was learnt that in a frantic bid to cover their tracks and back-up their claim to the presidency that it was officers of NSCDC which attacked the police, and that the police knew nothing about the death of the two NSCDC men, the police in Lagos has subjected Gbedeogun to severe torture reportedly supervised by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police where a videotaped confession is said to have been obtained. A police officer at the Owutu Police Station who felt bad about the latest developments told us on condition of anonymity that if care was not taken urgently Gbedeogun would be dead before daybreak. By that time, the torture victim had already spent over 24hrs in detention, contrary to the law. This is even as the IG of Police Mr Mohammed Abubakar yesterday ordered the unconditional and immediate release of all NSCDC officials in custody. Gbedeogun was one of the NSCDC officers that escaped from the vandalization scene where the police killed two of his colleagues. He was found where he was hiding for fear of his life, and arrested by the police. <div></div> Our source said that in forcing the confession out of him, the police reminded Gbedeogun of the case in Edo State of Olaitan Oyerinde, Governor Adams Oshiomole’s former aide who was allegedly killed by the police last year, suggesting that a similar fate could be his if he failed to cooperate with them. -Sahara Reporters

Omada who was paraded weekend before journalists at the State police Command headquarters, confessed to the crime, adding that it was the first time he did so. The offence was allegedly committed about two weeks ago at Owan town, in Owan West Local Government Area of the State where the father of six children of ages 18 to 30 lives with his family. Mr. Omada who hails from Nsukka, Enugu State, said on the fateful day, he capitalised on the absence of his wife and children, who were away in the farm, and lured the girl into his bedroom. He claimed he inserted his middle finger into her private part. He however denied having sex with her. According to the suspect, the bubble burst when the elder brother of the girl who noticed that she was moving with pain and difficulty, reported to their mother who eventually obtained confession from the girl. He said the alarm raised by the mother attracted neighbours who arrested and handed him over to the police. Robbers as gathered, broke into some shops at Idumota market Monday, carted away assorted fabrics. Two days later, some of the stolen lace materials were reportedly recovered from Sadiq following which he was subsequently arrested. But in this interview with Crime Guard, he claimed to be oblivious of the stolen materials. According to him, “ at about 3am on Monday, I saw three persons walking round my area with bundles of clothes. I accosted them and said they can not pass through our domain without giving me a share of what they had. So, one of them gave me two bundles of the lace materials. Next day, I took the materials to the market to sell, only to be arrested. I did not know that the person I took the clothes to was the owner of the stolen goods. When I got there, I met a woman who showed interest. I told her it was N25,000 at first but she said she would pay N5000. Without much ado, I told her to bring the money and he asked me to wait for his apprentice to get her money” Unknown to him, while he was waiting, the owner had contacted the police. As he stretched out his hand to collect the money from the shop owner on her arrival, the policemen caught him and handcuffed both hands. Asked what he was doing outside at an ungodly hour, he replied, “ we usually stayed on top of the bridge to collect toll from container drivers who usually took the route at night. <a href="http://naijacarrygo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/blackjesus.jpg"><img alt="" class="alignnone size-full" height="314" src="http://naijacarrygo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/blackjesus.jpg" title="blackjesus.jpg" width="400" /></a>A convicted rapist and cult leader known as Black Jesus, who was accused of murdering three girls and then eating their flesh and drinking their blood, has escaped from jail with 48 other prisoners.  A huge manhunt is underway in Papua New Guinea's jungles for Stephen Tari and the other inmates, who broke out of prison in Madang in the north of the country while a guard changed shift.  Police have warned that some of the escapees are very dangerous and stressed officers are working 'around the clock' to catch them.  Tari, 40, a failed Bible class student, called himself Black Jesus as he travelled through the highland jungles in 2006, gathering thousands of disciples who moved with him, following his instructions to increase his 'flock'.  But he was also accused of raping three young girls, murdering them and then drinking their blood and eating their flesh.  Villagers eventually captured him in March 2007, beat him into unconsciousness, tied him up and handed him over to police.  In 2010 he was convicted of four counts of rape but was not charged with murder due to lack of evidence, despite protests by the relatives of three dead girls.  Now the enigmatic figure, who wore long white robes as he stood on a rock in a jungle clearing and preached his own gospel to his disciples, has sparked fears that he plans to look for new followers with his escape.  'The guard left his tower,' PNG Correction Service’s spokesman Richard Mandui told Radio Australia today.  'While the shift was taking place, the detainees used a tool to cut through a fence and they left for freedom.'  'We’re working around the clock to find Stephen Tari and the other men,' said Madang’s Acting Provincial Police Commander Inspector Jacob Bando.  During his days of freedom he gathered more than six thousand disciples by telling them they would recieve gifts from heaven if they followed him.  But jungle communities were horrified to be told that Stephen Tari had sacrificed three young women, drinking their blood and eating their flesh as part of his bizarre religious ceremonies.  In one case, a mother who had fallen under his influence, drank her daughter’s blood, according to relatives who the Daily Mail spoke to at the time. The girl said her father, Sylvester Ehijele, had on numerous occasions had sex with her, adding that he used to promise to buy her goodies and toys before the actions. Photo: She said he usually had sex with her on a daily basis whenever her mother was not home. She said, “Whenever my mum is not at home, he grabs me, forces his hand over my mouth and then inserts his penis into my private part. He promises to buy me a car, cake and biscuit but he doesn’t buy anything for me. “He also threatens to use a knife to gouge my eyes out anytime I threaten to report to my mother.” Sylvester’s wife, Margaret, told PUNCH Metro that he (Ehijele) also raped their 23-year-old daughter when she was much younger and recently, he raped their one-year-old granddaughter that lives with them. She said, “I am a caterer. In 2006 I went to Abuja for a catering job where I spent five days. But at about 1am, my first daughter, who was about 17-years-old at the time, called me on the phone crying that her father raped her that night. “When I returned, I confronted him but he beat me up and he continued to molest our daughter and each time I confronted him, it earned me a beating. I had no choice but to leave him when I got fed up with seeing him molesting our daughter and later sleeping with me. I took my six children and we relocated.” She said in 2011, Sylvester’s family settled their  differences and urged the couple to reconcile for the sake of the children. She said her husband swore never to touch any of his daughters again and she reluctantly returned to her husband’s house. Margaret said she was however disappointed to find out that less than a year after moving in with her husband, he went back to his old ways. She said, “We reconciled in May 2011 and I really thought he had changed but in August last year, I caught him in a compromising situation with our seven-year-old daughter. I called her out and she told me how her father had constantly been abusing her. “Again, I confronted him and he beat me up. I had to pick my daughter and ran to his brother’s house, where I stayed for three days before I went back home.” Mrs. Ehijele said she continued to cope with her husband’s ways until he finally raped their 15-month-old granddaughter. She said, “Because my oldest daughter works, we decided to put her daughter baby at a day care in Ejigbo. I have always been the only one that brings her back at 6pm everyday from the day care. But on that particular day, my husband went to the day care and after an altercation with the teacher, he took the baby home. “He took the baby home and hours later the baby was crying profusely. When I got home, the baby was still crying and I wondered what was wrong. When I finally took off her diapers so I could bathe her, I noticed she was bleeding in her private part. When I raised the alarm, my husband was unnerved. That was when I suspected him. “I rushed down to the Ejigbo Police Station and reported the matter.” Margaret said she had been married to the suspect for over 23 years and lamented that he had had carnal knowledge of all their daughters. “I have two daughters, four sons and a granddaughter. Sadly, my husband has raped all of the females,” she said. The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said the suspect would soon be charged to court on charges of defilement. “The suspect is in the habit of sleeping with his daughters and now his granddaughter. We have the doctor’s report which shows that the girls have been defiled,” she said. A copy of medical report issued by the Isolo General Hospital reads in part that, “The vaginal hymens of the girls are no longer intact.” Sylvester however denied the allegation, adding that it was his wife that poisoned his daughters’ minds against him. He said his wife left him initially because he had refused to pay her dowry. He said, “If I was the one that raped them, let me die. My wife and I were separated for four years and it was because her family said I hadn’t paid her bride price. Most of the injured victims are currently receiving medical attention at the Murtala Mohammed Memorial Hospital, Kano. One of the victims, Mr. Emmanuel Bassey, 37, who works at the Luxury bus park as a  park attendant  attached to Ezewanta  Transport, said he was hurt but lucky and happy to be alive. In a telephone interview with our correspondent, (before hospital staff ended the encounter), he was full of gratitude to God for sparing his life. According to him, he and several of his colleagues were going about their normal duties of attracting passengers to board buses for a commission when a small car with two occupants came into the park. “I rushed to them faster than most of my colleagues. I went and asked them where they were going and one of them said they had yet to decide and that when they decided they would let me know. I left them and went away. “But four of my other colleagues rushed to the car when they saw that I did not succeed. “As they approached the vehicle, the driver sped off and headed towards some of the parked buses. Almost immediately, I heard a deafening sound! Then a thick black smoke and fire; there was confusion everywhere. I thank God I am lucky to be alive, my other colleagues died.” He was not alone, Magawa Goje, 45, a retailer of dried beef, popularly called Kilishi, also counted himself lucky. Goge said, “I sell Kilishi (dried beef) at the Sabon Gari Luxury bus park. I was busy selling my Kilishi to people who are getting on the bus when I heard a loud band and felt a sharp pain on my chin. That is all I can remember before I woke up on this bed. I heard people saying Boko Haram did this. Whoever did this will rot in the hottest part of hell. Allah will surely judge them.” Meanwhile, traders in and around the park have relocated into other areas of Sabon Gari as rumours of reprisals continued to fill the air. EFCC Arraigns 3 Pastors Over N7.9m Fraud

The defendants who were arraigned before Justice Olabisi Akinlade of an Ikeja High Court, are facing a six-count charge bordering on conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretence, forgery and uttering. The defendants were charged by the anti-graft agency alongside their company, Prince and Zion International Service Ltd. The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges proffered against them. The trio were accused of defrauding their victims of the sum under the pretense of helping them to secure large sum of money as loan. The EFCC counsel, Mr Ben Ubi alleged that the defendants had conspired among themselves to fraudulently obtain N4 million and 25,000 US dollars (N3.9 million) from one Angel Estate Residents Development Association in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos. Ubi alleged that the money was obtained on October 27, 2011 under the pretext of helping the complainants source for a 100 million US dollars loan facility. He stated that the loan was being sourced by the association to finance some community projects, adding that the defendants had obtained the money as processing charges. Ubi, however accused the defendants of forging various documents which were used in facilitating the fraud. Adding that after collecting the money, they  failed to secure the loan as promised which led the complainants to petition the EFCC. Prosecution counsel, Gbolahan K. Latona asked the court for a trial date and to remand the suspect in prison custody. The Sun gathered that shortly after the incident, one of the perpetrators was arrested and handed over to the police by members of a vigilance group, who noticed bloodstains on his clothes. The woman, who later confessed to the crime, was said to have fainted at a police station, when she sighted one of the suspects in the murder. She was said to have confessed to conspiracy to kill her husband. Yeah, I got born again but I’m still a musician and an entertainer. I have been working on my album and I will be shooting a video soon. That’s it basically. How many tracks are you looking at and who are you working with on the new album? I’m working on a good news album, which could also be called, gospel music. I’m working on about 15 tracks and I’m working with Black Jersey in Surulere, Lagos. Also, I’m working with Cupit in FESTAC; I’m working with just two producers. We are looking at about two more tracks and we hope to get through this month or early next month. Coming from a secular music background, how easy is it to compose gospel tunes? It’s actually easy, although, in the beginning, it wasn’t because I was confused. There is this mentality that when you are born again, you start working on your outer appearance and not inner while it’s suppose to be inside and then outside. I also started the same way like trying to change my looks and the rest. So, it was indeed kind of difficult composing songs because I did not have enough word of God in me but after then I had to relax for like a year, going to church, listening to pastor Chris, teaching me and I’m still learning so I have enough words to put in my songs, so now I’m ready. Which of the pastor Chris are you talking about and is it that this pastor attends to you personally from the way you are talking?I’m talking about Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. I have never seen pastor Chris in person but he’s so real to me like the way we are talking now. You are still in the music industry despite switching to gospel. What relationship do you have with secular acts you used to mingle with?We are still friends. I take the males like my brother and the ladies as my sisters. The mothers know my story as an orphan so they are my mum. I was confused before because I’m an orphan but now I have realized that the Christian family is my family. I used to have boy friends, I had like two or three, I used to be the ‘Naija Bad Girl’ but I changed it. I did not push them aside, I pray for them always so they can see the light the way I did. Initially, going to them was difficult because I was not strong but now I go to them, we pray together and share the word. Did you encounter a particular incident that made you become a born again? Honestly, it was the same words in the Bible, the same ministration. It was just time because the words that I heard that transformed me were the same words some other people heard. Although, at that time, I was sick and all sorts of tests were conducted on me including HIV, pregnancy and others, and the doctor said I was alright but I was still sick and it was like my head was about to blow up. Later, I went to the church on a weekday and I lied down at the altar and was talking to God that ‘you have taken all my family already and now I am feeling like this’. I left and went to look for my boyfriend but I was still not feeling fine. I was feeling that my life was not normal, that I might die if I did not surrender my life to Christ. And I kept getting the message that ‘you are neither hot nor cold’, I got the message through phone and later in the church, so that was all and I became a new creature. How easy was it to leave your usual ways? I must tell you I did not have to pray about it. I just developed the habit of reading my Bible regularly and all those things just stopped without struggling: self service, boys getting attracted to me etc. And I have not stopped reading my Bible. In fact, it has become a habit. You were so daring, posting almost unclad pictures of yourself when you came into the industry and people were talking about you. Some felt you must be a prostitute. What would you say to this?Yeah, I was a prostitute and I’m not ashamed to say it. It’s past tense and we all have our past. The beauty of it is that if Christ has done something in your life and you can’t say it, what is the need? I think I went through all that so I can really speak out. I have been through all that so I can speak, talk to the girls who are still into it and make myself an example. Although, it’s not nice for people to hear and it’s not something to be proud of but for the sake of those prostitutes outsides, I have to say it. Did you become an orphan by loosing your parents or you never knew them? I had my mum but she decided to leave me with a neighbour before leaving the house, after seven years she came back and she died, and that is all they know about me What led you to music in the first place and what made you think you can sing? I have always loved singing and may be the India films we used to watch as kids also formed part of the interest. I could remember I used to sing when washing plates and doing stuffs and I always wanted to do all that had to do with music and drama in primary school When I was old enough to sponsor myself, I decided to do music, and later, professionally. <div></div> You lost your mum, how did you put yourself together? The lady my mum left me with in our compound took care of me through primary school. After that, I felt I was being maltreated so I ran away. I think I ran away when I was 14 or so and I was surviving on my own by doing house help, bar attendant, and of course, the club girl, so that was how I survived. What was your mission when you decided to sing professionally? I actually wanted money and fame but basically, I felt I was nobody and I wanted to make somebody out of myself. I wanted people to know about this orphan and probably make a voice to speak for the orphans. The initial push and motive was good but frustration later set in, the promotion, trying to come out, and so I started doing weird things, almost getting unclad on the Internet, looking for more attention to put me there because money was not doing it for me anymore. My beauty was not doing it for me any more and I was like may be I should go more crazy but I just wanted to make somebody out of nobody. Some say you changed your way because you got married? That is not true. My husband is white and you know white people support their wives. My husband said he didn’t want to be involved in my career and I should also keep his daughter out of it. I was actually praying for it before he said it. My husband has been very supportive for years; he took me to South Africa to shoot my first video. He has spent millions on my career. How long have you been married and how many kids do you have together? We have been married for about two years but there’s no child yet. I had my daughter before I met him but he adopted my daughter. How did you both meet and what is keeping you from having children for him? I met him in Port Harcourt eleven years ago; we have been together before my music. We are waiting on the Lord for children. As an orphan who has seen both sides of life, what has this made of you? It makes me strong. It makes me feel blessed. Instead of me thinking of being an orphan and be angry, it makes me feel I’m blessed, I’m experienced because I feel God kind of prepared me to liberate people so, I’m blessed and I thank God for giving me a voice and making me a source of inspiration to some. How true is it that White men stick to Nigerian women because they are good in bed irrespective of their ways of life?It sounds true because devil likes to bring his truth from the real truth. After becoming a born again, in my vision, I realized that the white are not as strong as we are spiritually. And God made me understand He’s taking us to them to change them. Over there, you are free to do whatever you like but there is a reason why God is joining these two together. But of course, devil has turned everything to s*x. If a woman is beautiful, well curved, yes, we are sexy and of course, there is something that makes the man to succumb to the woman even when he’s angry, so that is not far from the truth. What was your first experience as a prostitute like? It was strange, even though I can’t really remember (laughs). What I can remember is that it was strange. I was very young but I had to do it. It was scary I think. At what point did you decide to stop prostitution and what made you stop? That’s actually a very good question because even after getting married I still have this urge of going out to meet a man. But I felt it should not be so. I’m trying to let people know there is a spirit behind prostitution, if not, why after getting married, I have everything, I live in Lekki, I’m driving a very big car and my husband gives me whatever I want, so why would I still feel like going into prostitution? There is a spirit behind it. I continued prostitution even after getting married. The only thing that changed me was being born again and being delivered. That means you kept long list of men while you were doing secular music? Yeah. I was so bad that if I had this boy friend and he messed up I just moved to the next one. That was basically why I did the track, Oko Yapa (husbands are numerous). They were not given me money so if you messed up I moved to the next because there were many of them. It means you have a very high libido that if this guy is not getting it right you try the next one? (Laughter) Oh my God. Is that the truth? No o! I think I was just bad that I used to judge them at every slight mistake. I was bad that if I was with my boyfriend and I saw a fine boy, I would still make passes at him. The devil makes us think it’s in our nature but its not so. Did you at anytime have crush on any guy in the entertainment industry? Crush, crush…wait o, I have to be very sure. It should be so but I can’t remember. May be Tuface? No, I did not have crush on Tuface. I respect Tuface, I like him so much and I respect him a lot. I’m sorry if all Nigerian male artistes are reading this. Did you date any? I dated some but I don’t think they would want me to say it. It’s of no use because there are better things to talk about now. People think there is no much money in gospel music. What is your reaction? That is what you think, you think there is no much money in gospel music but I am there and I can tell you there is so much money. I think gospel artistes don’t just brag, it’s the secular ones who come to the television to show stuffs which is not bad but the gospel musicians don’t feel like showing off. But believe me they are making money. Tell us about your background? I was told my father was from Edo State and my mother, Igbo. People of all ages and class had various Display Pictures on their Blackberry Phones, Twitter, Facebook and other social networking websites. The mistake we all are making is we aren’t concerned if the man was able to give substantial answers to vital questions thrown to him, example is clearing the air of the allegations made by the public that the agency is deep into job racketing. If after posting dehumanizing jokes, graphical and video image on the man from National Civil Defence Corp it doesn’t still bring about accountability and transparency in the agency, then who is now the big fool? Is it the Man who kept praising “his oga at the top” while still getting kick backs from job racketing and other corruption based practices or the masses who were once making jest of the officer and are still jobless and with no hope of getting a job. Nigerians should also realize they are doing the Officer more good than harm. Nigeria is a nation operated and governed on the basis of sentiments. Once you superior sees you as someone who is loyal and cool headed, they overlook your very great flaws which may include ignorance, corruption and even sluggishness. <div></div> A man who came on National Television to keep showering praises at “his oga at the top” even while being made to look silly is no where a fool. He understand the “Laws Of Power” as well as the Nigerian Hierachy rules and regulations and his acting according to the script perfectly. No one should be surprised if within a few months, this man that is being made jest of today for his ignorance is promoted severally even before his promotion is due. The current president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan is a typical example of someone who understands the Nigeria Policy. When his former boss and Governor of Bayelsa was facing allegations of money laundry and embezzlement by the EFCC and Bayelsa State. House Of Assembly, all indications were obvious of his boss impeachment and Jonathan rising to the number one seat of his state as Governor, he (Jonathan) was never in a hurry to take over power. He praised his former boss even after he became governor. Same scenario took place a few years later only this time he assumed the president of Nigeria. Yet with all the many flaws of Jonathan and his government today, never has once Jonathan come out to run down the late President Umar Yaradua or his policies while in power. There are rules in leadership and followership and the number one binding rule is Loyalty. For those mocking this man about not knowing his organization’s website address, even though it won’t stand as an excuse not to know it, do this people also realize that more than 95% of our present Bank CEO’s do not also know their bank’s website or slogan. Most Nigerian Senators, Honorable members, Ministers and Governors can’t recite Nigeria’s National Pledge not to talk of the Anthem. Let’s start tackling more inportant issues and look for solutions rather than being engrossed in irrelevant and non beneficial discussions.
